To illustrate this, consider the mobile app market. As of May 2020, Google Play has 2.65 million apps and Apple’s app store has 1.85 million. Not surprisingly, whenever we need to, we can find at least a few programs that match the request. At the same time, only a small percentage of them reach a wider group of users and become an indispensable element of the gadget. In this case, what is interesting is what can be found in the comments to less popular applications. Taking a closer look at a simple compass, you can see that the complexity of the interface, excess advertising or insufficient testing is painfully perceived by the consumer.

This is an example of a simple mobile application, but a user who is accustomed to such an experience brings it to the world of more complex and advanced solutions and systems, expecting the same on a larger scale.
